Empowering Young Minds for a Brighter Tomorrow

Welcome to the Inaugural Issue of Eagle Eye

"The resilience, creativity, and dedication of our students, staff, and families continue to inspire us, and it is our privilege to share these stories with you. "

Dear Mercer County Community,

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome you to the very first issue of Eagle Eye, Mercer County Schools’ official quarterly magazine. This publication will serve as a window into the amazing work happening in our district, while also providing a reflection of who we are as a community.

In this inaugural issue, we are proud to feature a range of stories that showcase the heart and spirit of our students. From peer-to-peer mental health support initiatives at both the Middle School and High School, to a remarkable musical prodigy making waves in our community, to students finding their voices through the arts—these stories highlight the many ways our young people are expressing themselves, supporting one another, and growing into the leaders of tomorrow.

As a district, we have so much to be proud of. The resilience, creativity, and dedication of our students, staff, and families continue to inspire us, and it is our privilege to share these stories with you. Eagle Eye is a celebration of our collective efforts and a testament to the strength of our community.

We look forward to bringing you stories like these each quarter, celebrating the achievements and growth of our students, and highlighting the ways in which Mercer County is thriving. Thank you for your continued support of our schools and for joining us in this exciting journey.

Sincerely,

Tim Farquer, Superintendent
Mercer County SD 404
